The fourth meeting of the Certification Commission brought new motivated schools into the revitalised euregional school networks in the framework of the Interreg V project "EMRLingua".
At the end of the school year, the fourth meeting of the certification commission for the school networks "Euregioprofilschule" and "Euregioschule" took place in Eupen. Representatives of schools and educational institutions from the member regions of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine gathered to put the finishing touches to the access criteria, but above all to recertify five schools and even award seven schools their first certification.
At the beginning, there was an exchange of general information about the previous labels, criteria and the current state of affairs. Then it was finally time for the main part of the meeting, i.e. the certification and recertification of the schools that had applied. A total of seven schools had applied to become Euregio schools. In addition, five schools that are already Euregio profile or Euregio schools applied for their respective recertification. To the delight of all involved, all applications were unanimously accepted and the labels awarded.

These institutions stand out thanks to their commitment to promoting the neighbouring languages German, Dutch and French in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and in teaching intercultural competence so that pupils are optimally prepared for the future.
