With Vogelsang IP, the district of Euskirchen has an extramural learning venue of trans-regional importance in the middle of the Eifel National Park.

While the NS Ordensburg Vogelsang was once a place where contempt for human life was lived, the International Place Vogelsang IP today serves as a place where a culture of remembrance is embraced and as a forum for present-day and future questions.

The aim is to raise the sensitise young people to a cross-border, intercultural awareness and to reinforce transcultural competencies, discourse skills and democratic competence.
